Module 1:
Cambodia Introduction and Overview

An introduction to Cambodia, including its geography, people, dress, religion, currency, climate, and language. Students will get hands-on experience putting on and tying a Kroma (traditional head scarf), see and touch authentic objects, do some "riel" math (riel is the Cambodian currency or the equivalent to our dollar), learn to write the numbers 1-10 in Cambodian script, view a video tour of a Cambodian food market, and more. Students will create a little booklet of drawings, collages, and writing about Cambodia.
