Smile = nho-nhue!m |
We ate dinner at the Pon Lok restaurant and sat upstairs on a balcony overlooking the waterfront. There were lizards crawling on the walls, but the food, a very inclusive khmer menu, was good. The waitresses and waiters wanted to hold Harry Sarak while I ate. They made him laugh and smile. They taught me the khmer words for smile, laugh, and ways to play with the baby (clicking and popping your tongue). They described his personality as gentle.
