Landing in Phnom Penh at the airport was a shock -- of climate and culture. There was a big blue sign welcoming the President of National Assembly of Vietnam, Mr. Nong Duc Manh. It was very hot & humid. We walked down the plane stairs and across the hot tarmac, stopping for some photographs before entering the terminal. The sweat started to pour in seconds. It felt like August in Philadelphia in the middle of a humid heat wave without air conditioning.
