As we walked through the doors, we handed our passports and visa photos to the officers behind a long desk. We waited at the other end of the line for them to process our papers and pay the $20 visa fee. There was a lot of confusion and we were nervous as we waited. The visas and passports were handed back in a random order. One of the officers called over Harry Sarak's grandma and we thought they were going to take her away, but they just needed her to sign another page in her passport for the visa stamp. There were some language barriers, but finally they allowed her to rejoin the waiting line. First Harry Sarak's grandpa's visa came through. Next grandma's (with a great sign of relief). Next mommy, and a lot waiting, Harry Sarak's daddy's visa and passport was ready. A moment of panic flashed through my mind -- wondering if we'd all make it through or if I'd misplace my passport. Then onto the next hurdle, immigration, baggage claim, and customs.
